We grow exquisite dahlias

At Heirloom Dahlias of Maine, we are passionate about dahlias and grow over 100 exquisite varieties, including contemporary and heirloom cultivars. Our boutique five-acre historic farm is located along the southern coast of Maine where we propagate and distribute heirloom and in-demand cultivars for the next generation of gardeners and flower farmers.

Some of the most popular contemporary dahlias we grow are: Bloomquist Tory P, Bracken Rose, Camano Zoe, Clearview Peachy, Coralie, KA’s Rosie Jo, Lakeview Peach Fuzz, and Peaches N' Cream.

Some of our favorite heirloom cultivars include: Arthur Hambley, Betty Anne, Café au Lait, Jersey Beauty, Miss Rose Fletcher, Preference and Stolze von Berlin. Contact us for complete list of our 2022 offerings.

Tubers, rooted cuttings & nursery stock

During the spring months we offer dahlia tubers, rooted cuttings, and garden ready plants. We ship bare root dahlia tubers throughout the contiguous United States in April and May.

Our farm is licensed to sell nursery stock by the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry. As a licensed farm, our stock is subject to routine inspection to ensure that it is healthy. We have also instituted a rigorous testing plan,  routinely sampling our stock to make sure it is free from common viruses and diseases.
